The pundits announced that 2012 was BBC One's 'golden year' but after the extraordinary success of the Olympics and with Danny Cohen's recently vacated chair to fill, new controller Charlotte Moore has her work cut out. Those same industry insiders will now be watching to see how she handles her increased remit; which elements of the old strategy remain and which fall by the wayside.
How will Charlotte sustain the daytime schedule's peak now that CBBC has its own home? Will key BBC TWo commissions continue to thrive on One? How will Drama and Entertainment fare given Danny Cohen's plan to reinvent Factual and Charlotte's strong record in that area?
